If you are in the immediate Washington, DC Metro area,* and have at least 50 books, CDs, movies, or some combination of these, Books for America will come to your house or office to pick them up.

Please include a phone number, your location, and a brief description of the donation.
*Pick-ups currently available in a limited area within the Capital Beltway and in NOVA as far as Fairfax county. Please specify your location and we will let you know if we serve your area. The schedule fills up quickly, so keep in mind that we will often need a week's notice. We will drive further for donations of larger amounts of items.

Items may be shipped to or dropped off at our Community Outreach Center/Used Book Store in Washington, DC or to our Book Sorting Facility in Fairfax, VA.
We recommend U.S. Postal Service Media Mail or UPS ground. Visit www.usps.com to obtain shipping costs.
Please CALL AHEAD before dropping off books at either location, and keep in mind that there may be a wait!
